What Do You Say, Dear? is a "book of manners for all occasions" that teaches children what to say in certain situations. The author uses silly examples of situations you may find yourself in, but provides a proper way of responding. On one page, a character is flying around in his airplane and decides to 'drop in' on one of his friends...only it makes a huge hole in her roof. What does he say? Well, "Sorry", of course!

Wow, this is a treasure! It looks very dated from the cover illustrations. Manners are definitely somewhat of a lost art form, but I love the idea of teaching appropriate manners in outrageous situations.
